JCATS Defender wins      
California Public Defender      
Association's Program of      
the Year Award for 2003      
The California Public Defenders Association has selected the San Diego County Public Defenders Office as the winner of the Public Defender Association's 2003 Program of the Year Award in recognition of our office's leadership in successfully developing and implementing the JCATS Defender case management system. San Diego Public Defender Steven J. Carroll will accept the award on behalf of the department at the Public Defender Association's annual convention in Sacramento on Friday, April 25, 2003.
